About The Practice

David Chang, M.D., Ph.D., D.A.B.N.S., is a board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in the treatment of complex brain and spine conditions in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin.

After earning both his M.D. and Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Dr. Chang completed his neurosurgical residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, followed by a neurosurgical fellowship at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke.

Dr. Chang has been in practice for over twenty years and joined Midwest Spine and Brain Institute in 2015, where he continues to provide exceptional neurosurgical care.

Dr. Chang treats a range of conditions that affect the brain and spine. He routinely sees patients who are living with conditions such as spinal stenosisherniated discsspine tumors, and adult spine deformity. He also performs spinal fusionartificial disc replacementrevision spine surgery, and complex spine surgery.

To stay current with the latest advances in his field, Dr. Chang maintains his certification with the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
